Valentijn home decor/ Valentine home decor

Ik heb beloofd om er een mooi roze met rood huis van te maken. Bij deze weer een nieuw project. Ik heb een standaard van iemand gekregen voor kerstballen, maar ik vind hem zo leuk, dat ie de kast niet in is gegaan. Je kunt hem volgens mij voor elk seizoen gebruiken. Ik heb hem nu in valentijnstijl gemaakt. De stoffen harten zijn van de action. Ik heb er kleine zeepkettinkjes bij gemaakt. Verder maakte ik met de cricut speciale valentijn doosjes, die je op kunt hangen. Op 14 februari stop ik er iets lekkers in voor alle gezinsleden. Ieder een eigen doosje. Deze doosjes zijn ook erg leuk voor een bruiloft. Stel je voor, dat ze voor alle gasten gemaakt zijn en dat ze allemaal in een mooie tak hangen. Lijkt me echt supercool. I promised you a pink and red home. So here a new project. I got this stand for christmas. It was given to me as a gift. I think you can use it all through the season. This time I made a Valentine version of it. I used fabric hearts, little heart soaps and special valentine boxes made with the cricut. On Valentines day I will put in something sweet for all the members of my family. I think it will also be great for a wedding. Make a box for every guest and hang them in a branch. Love is a journey

Deze keer heb ik weer gekozen voor de kleuren rood, roze en bruin. Voor deze wanddecoratie heb ik 3 canvasjes van 10 cm x 40 cm gebruikt (http://www.cchobby.nl/). Die schilderde ik eerst zalmroze. Daarna heb ik er dessinpapier op geplakt. De letters heb ik met de cricut gemaakt. Tenslotte gebruikte ik chipboard en 2 stanzen van sizzix Tim Holz. Deze vormen heb ik wit geschilderd en bewerkt met disstress inkt. Het roze hart met vleugels heb ik bespoten met zelfgemaakte glimmer mist. Om het helemaal af te maken, gebruikte ik nog wat bloemen en metalen hartjes. Daarna oogjes erin van de bouwmarkt en alle schilderijtjes aan elkaar vastmaken met mooi lint. Onderaan heb ik stoffen harten gehangen (Action) en lintjes met daaraan geur balletjes (Action, gewoon een gat er in boren) en drijfhout. De laatste stap is het ophangen en genieten van je werk.

This time I chose again the colors red, pink and brown. I used 3 canvasses of 10cm x 40cm for this home decor project. I painted them salmon pink. I then added some patterned paper. The words are made with my cricut. I used chipboard and 2 Tim Holz dies from sizzix. I painted the chipboard white and used some disstress ink. The heart was painted pink and sprayed with my home made glimmer mist. Add some flowers and metal hearts and you're ready. I went to the hardware store and bought some hooks to attach the paintings together. I used nice ribon to tie the project together. At the bottom I added some fabric hearts and a ribbon with odour wooden beads and some wood. Just hang you're decoration on the wall and enjoy.

Valentijns cakejes/ Valentine cupcakes

Hallo cricutlovers. Ik heb een goed voornemen. Ik wil mijn hele huiskamer in valentijn stijl. Waarom? Ik weet het ook niet. Ik heb gewoon zin in de combi rood, roze en bruin. Bovendien ben ik gewoon weer eens aan iets nieuws toe. De komende tijd kunnen jullie dus wat leuke home decor ideetjes voor Valtentijnsdag verwachten.

Ik ben gegonnen met het maken van cupcakes van piepschuimballen (Xenos 6 voor € 0,99). Ze zijn ongeveer 8 cm groot. Het papier is van allerlei merken. Gewoon uit de kast gehaald. Hi cricutlovers. I just started on a new project. I want to see my hole livingroom in valentine style. Why? I don't know. I just want t work wit red, pink en brown. Above all I want some new decorations. So you can expect a lot of valentine projects from me.

I started out making cupcakes. I used these balls about 8 cm. The paper is all kinds of brands (was lying in my closet). Sneeuwman ezelkaart/ Snowman Easelcard

Eindelijk is de sneeuw weg en wat ga ik dan maken... een sneeuwman. Ik zag hem op deze blog http://sandrasscrapsels.blogspot.com/2010/11/sneeuwpop.html.

Ik raad iedereen aan om er te kijken, want ze maakt super mooie dingen. Ik heb de sneeuwpop omgezet in een snijfile. Mijn sneeuwman heeft echter wel handjes. Ik hoop dat jullie er wijs uit kunnen worden. Kijk maar gewoon goed naar de foto, dan komen jullie er vast wel uit. Als je de snijfile wilt hebben, klik dan hier (SCAL 2.0).

Baby girl slinger/ Baby girl garland

Een tijdje terug maakte ik een mooie baby slinger voor een meisje. Met haar naam erop was het een prachtig mooi kraamcadeautje. Ik maakte van karton ook nog een leuk doosje, waarin je de slinger op kunt bergen. Erg leuk om te maken en ook erg leuk om te geven. Je kunt de file hier downloaden (SCAL 2.0).

Some time ago I made this beautiful baby garland for a little girl. I added her name and it is the perfect gift. I made a box of chipboard, so you can store the garland away. It's nice to make this project, but it is also nice to give away. You can download the file here (SCAL 2.0).

Spookhuis/ Haunted House

Morgen ga ik mijn huis in Halloween sfeer toveren. Ik heb al wat dingen gemaakt, maar wilde nu eens iets maken wat heel snel af is. Nu dit spookhuis is snel gesneden en ook snel in elkaar geplakt. Snij alle delen van zwart papier, behalve pagina 3. Snij deze van dessinpapier. Zo heb je echt behang in je huis. Er zit expres geen dak op, zodat je er een glaasje met waxine lichtje in kunt zetten. Als je er echter een bodem in doet een een plastic zakje, dan kun je er natuurlijk ook iets lekkers in doen (popcorn misschien?). Wil je ook een huisje maken, klik dan hier voor de file (SCAL 2.0).

Tomorrow I will turn my home into Halloween mood. I made some things, but wanted to make something quick. This haunted house is cut quickly and made easily. Cut all parts of black paper, except for page 3. Cut this using patterned paper. Now you have some wallpaper for your house. There is no roof, so you can put a glass and candle in it. If you make a bottom and put a plastic bag in it, you could also use it as a party favour (fill it with popcorn). Kerststoel/ Christmas chair

Gisteravond heb ik samen met mijn vriendin Saskia lekker zitten knutselen. Zij kwam aan met een ezelkaart met een stoel daarop. Ik heb het patroon omgezet, zodat het met de cricut te snijden is. Het idee komt uit het hobbyjournaal.

Snij de stoel uit dessinpapier en maak een kaart van 13 cm x 26 cm. Vouw de kaart dubbel en haal van de bovenkant twee randen van 4,5 cm af. Je houdt nu in het midden een strook 4 cm over. Deze vouw je dubbel. De stoel kan hierop vastgeplakt worden. Versier de onderkrant van de kaart, zodat het lijkt of er een kleedje onder de stoel ligt. De stoel is makkelijk in elkaar te plakken. Snij nog wel twee strookjes van 1 cm x 7,5 cm. Deze gebruik je als zitting. Gebruik foamtape om hem in elkaar te zetten. Nog een Magnolia kleuren en je hebt een leuke kerstkaart.

Yesterday I was crafting with my friend Saskia. She had made an easelcard with a cosy chair. I turned the template over in a cricut file. The idea came from a dutch magazine called Hobby Journal.

Cut the chair using patterned paper. Cut two stripes of 1 cm x 7,5 cm, to make a seat. Use foamtape to put the chair together. Cut a card 13 cm x 26 cm. Fold it in half. Cut of a stripe of 4,5 cm of both sides of the top card. You are left with a stripe of 4 cm in the middle of the card. Fold this in half and attach the chair on top of it. Cut a piece of paper for the bottom of the easelcard so it looks like there is a carpet on the floor. I used a Magnolia stamp to make a Santa in the chair.
